Week to start in the 20s but how long will it last?

It’s the type of day you’ll see people in shorts and soaking up the spring sun on a patio.

The first week of May is starting off with balmy conditions, but enjoy it while we’ve got it.

Environment Canada says Monday is expected to bring mostly sun with a few clouds and a high of 22 C for most of the region.

While double digit temperatures are still expected for the rest of the week, you may not want to put away your sweaters just yet.

Damp conditions will make their way across the region on Tuesday with showers expected and a high of 10 C.

Things will dry up and skies will open to a sun and cloud mix for Wednesday and Thursday and a high of 11 C.

Friday brings a slight chance of rain and the temperature remaining steady at 11 C.
