Serious injuries following crash on major Barrie road: Police

Police say a man and woman are seriously hurt after being involved in a crash on Tuesday morning in Barrie’s south end.

Both drivers have been taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Barrie police.

Officers have shut down Huronia Road at Saunders Road and Lockhart Road.

Emergency crews are on scene and police say the road closure is expected to be lengthy.
