Tecumseh man charged with trespassing and theft

Essex County OPP officers have charged a 27-year-old Tecumseh man after a theft investigation in Lakeshore.

Officers responded to a theft complaint on Saturday at 9:53 a.m.

As a result of the investigation a Tecumseh man was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

• Trespassing at Night (7 counts)
• Theft Under $5000 from a Motor Vehicle (5 counts)
• Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 - in Canada (5 counts)
• Theft of Credit Card (6 counts)
• Use of Credit Card (7 counts)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor, to speak to the charges on July 17.
