The heat warning is still in effect, despite slight relief after a destructive storm Friday night in Windsor-Essex.

According to Environment Canada, a yellow heat warning remains in effect for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex, despite Saturday feeling slightly cooler than this week. Saturday’s high was 31 C with a humidex of 35 C, compared to low 40s earlier in the week.
