Cottam school to get $5.1 million addition

A school in Cottam received a $5.1 million investment from the government for student and daycare spaces.

A school in Cottam has received a $5.1 million investment from Ontario for an addition.

Gosfield North Central School was the recipient, using the funding to create more student and childcare spaces in the community.

“We are grateful to the Ontario government and MPP Anthony Leardi for recognizing the needs of our growing communities in Windsor-Essex,” said Vicki Houston, chief executive officer at the Greater Essex County District School Board.

“This investment will provide significant benefits to the Gosfield North Public School community and support student success for years to come. The Greater Essex County District School Board appreciates the important addition and looks forward to the positive impact it will have once completed.”
