An active police investigation has ended in Elk Lake in the area of Fifth Street East and Pine Street on Tuesday morning.

The community is located near Temiskaming Shores.

“The heavy police presence has cleared from the area of Fifth Street East and Pine Street in Elk Lake, and there is no threat to public safety,” police said.

“Thank you for your patience and cooperation.”
