New website immortalizes Montreal’s worst potholes

Montreal’s potholes have always been a source of frustration, and now they’re getting their own moment in the spotlight.

A new interactive website called Mon Nid de Poule (My Pothole) is letting Montrealers locate, name, and poke a little fun at the city’s most notorious suspension-wreckers.

The site features an interactive map where users can pinpoint potholes across the city and give them names. One pothole on Avenue de Gaspé in the Plateau has already earned its own nickname: Another Brick in the pothole.

The creators say a top ten list of the city’s worst offenders is also in the works.
