Shelter in place lifted in St. Albert, suspect not found: RCMP

Police have lifted a shelter in place in St. Albert.

Residents in the Riverside neighbourhood of St. Albert were asked to shelter in place as police searched for a suspect involved in an armed robbery Sunday afternoon.

The suspect was not found, said RCMP in a news release, and is no longer believed to be in the area.

The shelter in place was lifted just before 5 p.m. Sunday.
