Diamond Valley hotel closed after AHS inspection

Alberta Health Services ordered the closure of the Woodstock Hotel in Diamond Valley, Alberta

The Woodstock Hotel in Diamond Valley has closed its doors following an order from Alberta Health Services (AHS).

AHS says the building didn’t have power, heat or running water.

Several rooms didn’t have functioning smoke alarms or a sprinkler system.

Mouse droppings were also found throughout the building.

On May 1st, those staying at the hotel were ordered out.

The owners have a list of conditions that must be met before they can reopen.
