N.S. RCMP search for driver who allegedly fled from police

The Nova Scotia RCMP is searching for a driver who allegedly fled from police on April 9.

Police said officers received a complaint about a Honda Civic travelling toward Barrington on Highway 3 near Doctor’s Cove around 2:40 p.m.

The vehicle was reported to be making dangerous passes.

“The Civic was later seen by police on Highway 103 and was last seen in Shelburne,” read a social media post from the RCMP.

Police are asking anyone who was travelling in the area and saw the vehicle, or has information about the driver, to contact the Barrington RCMP Detachment at 902-637-2325 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
