If you’re trying to call the Winnipeg Police Service’s (WPS) non-emergency line, you may have some tech trouble.

According to a post by WPS on X, the non-emergency communications line is experiencing intermittent issues.

It’s the third time the line has had problems since late-January.

Police assured the public that 911 services are unaffected and emergency calls are being answered.

In its post, WPS thanked the public for its patience. Those looking to file a non-emergency report can do so on the WPS website or in-person at police headquarters.

In an update Saturday afternoon, police said some calls on the non-emergency line were getting through. WPS encouraged people to keep trying if they are experiencing difficulties.
