Alexandra Holyk joined CTV News Kitchener in March 2025 as a videographer. Alexandra began her career at the age of 10 as a volunteer with OMNI TV. She was a community reporter with a Ukrainian youth television program, covering stories across the Greater Toronto Area. Alexandra graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2023. Leading up to her move to Waterloo Region, Alexandra worked as a video journalist and backfill anchor at CTV News Winnipeg. She also worked as an editorial assistant and associate producer at the CTV National newsroom in Toronto. Alexandra has been awarded numerous scholarships and fellowships for her work. She speaks English and Ukrainian.
