Parts of Windsor-Essex are experiencing flooding after significant rainfall overnight on Wednesday.
Residents have reported flooding in backyards, basements, and catch basins in the region.
Wednesday night, 30 to 50 millimetres fell in Southwestern Ontario. More rain is expected this weekend.
The ground will be unable to absorb more water due to the saturation it is already experiencing.
A flood warning has been issued for Lakeshore.
