WATCH: WPS searching for electronic theft suspect

Windsor police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a theft investigation at Devonshire Mall.

The Windsor Police Service is searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an electronic theft.

The incident happened just after 8 p.m. on Dec. 6. Police said a man was caught on surveillance video going into Devonshire Mall.

When the suspect was inside, they allegedly forced open a storage locker at a kiosk, and took multiple items, which included cell phones, phone screens, and other electronics.

The suspect was seen driving away in an older model silver Cadillac SRX, estimated to be in the 2010-2016 range, according to the WPS.

Police describe the suspect as a Middle Eastern man with facial hair. He was seen wearing a green toque, a blue, black, and yellow patterned quarter-zip fleece sweater, black sweatpants, and grey running shoes with white soles. He was carrying a black and orange patterned backpack, officers said.
