Spitfires take down the Attack in Wednesday night OHL action

The Owen Sound Attack visited the Windsor Spitfires Wednesday at the WFCU Centre.

Owen Sound scored first in the first period, giving the Attack an early lead which they held until late into the second period. 

Windsor was the penalty kill - with Nathan Gaymes in the box for roughing - when Cole Davis would score the short-handed goal, his fourth shorty of the season.

Just 17 seconds into the third period, AJ Spellacy scores for the Spitfires giving Windsor its first lead in the game.

Carson Woodall scored his 100th point on the assist to Spellacy.

Late in the game, Anthony Cristoforo sealed the deal for the Spitfires, sinking an empty net goal.

Windsor beats Owen Sound 3-1.

The next game for Windsor is Friday Nov. 28 in Guelph.
