Although rain may have made for a damp opening day at Roseland Golf Course, it didn’t stop people from teeing off.
There were a few cancellations, but the diehards pushed through the weather on Friday.
According to Roseland Golf Pro Dave Deluzio, it’ll be tough to get a tee time this weekend, "Tomorrow, we’re sold out right from 8:00 to 6:00 at night. You can’t get a tee time. Sunday’s very strong as well so it’s picking up where it left off last year."
The demand for golf was high last season with the course running at high capacity almost daily.
If opening weekend is any indication the city can expect a similar interest for this year’s season.
