Police increase presence in Merlin following alleged home invasion

An alleged home invasion involving a firearm prompted an increased police presence in Merlin on Tuesday morning.

Police say four people were arrested after officers responded to an address on Aberdeen Street.

The investigation remains ongoing. Earlier, residents and motorists were advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

Police say more information will be released as it becomes available.
