The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) and Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit have reported additional cases of measles exposure - the latest in a series of exposures reported in the region.

Currently, WECHU has nine reported incidents of measles exposure in March, and CKPH has reported 20. The most up to date list of exposure sites can be found on the CKPH and WECHU websites.
In general those born before 1970 are considered immune to measles, those born after 1970 should confirm that their vaccines are up to date, with two doses of measles vaccine.
Anyone that believes they are unvaccinated or under vaccinated should speak to their health care provider.
