Man wanted in Leamington homicide arrested, charged with second degree murder

A man wanted in connection with a sudden death investigation that has since been deemed a homicide has been arrested.

On Saturday, Essex OPP along with the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad arrested and charged Kevin Goodings, 61 years old of no fixed address with second degree murder.

An arrest warrant was issued for Goodings on Saturday following the death of 83-year-old Anita Goodings, who was found deceased on March 12 shortly after 2:30 p.m. at a residence on Sherk Street.

The accused is held in custody, and is scheduled to appear in court on Sunday.
