LaSalle police are reminding the public that it’s coyote breeding season.
Police say many coyotes call LaSalle home due to the ample forestry, fields, and abundance of food.. During breeding season, which generally lasts from January until the end of March, coyote behaviour may be bold and more protective of their territory.
Caution should always be taken with coyotes, and residents are urged to learn about managing conflicts with all wildlife in their area.
