Grey, cloudy day, some snow Monday in Windsor-Essex

Windsor-Essex is seeing a grey, gloomy day on Monday with some winds.

According to CTV Windsor Meteorologist Gary Archibald, some snow grain activity in the area.

“An area of low pressure just to the north, northeast of us, it’s producing some snow across parts of southern Ontario,” said Archibald.

“For tonight, it will be windy, and temperatures will eventually get down close to about 1 C, 2 C as we head towards 10 p.m., 11 p.m., and then midnight, early Tuesday morning, it will continue to be windy.”

Archibald added that there will be sustained winds, around 20 to 30 km/h with gusts up to 40 to 50 km/h through to Tuesday morning.

Windsor-Essex could see some light flurries mixed with drizzle Tuesday.

Monday: Cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. Winds southwest 40 km/h, gusting to 60 km/h. High 3 C.

Monday night: Cloudy, becoming partly cloudy near midnight. Winds southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 km/h. Low -1 C.

Tuesday: A mix of sun and cloud. 30 per cent chance of flurries in the morning. Winds west 20 km/h gusting up to 40 km/h. High 9 C.

Tuesday night: Cloudy periods with a 30 per cent chance of flurries. Low -2 C.

Wednesday: Cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of flurries. High 3 C.
