Driver identified in fatal weekend collision involving pedestrian

A 28-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with several gun-related charges after a fatal collision Saturday evening.

The Windsor Police Service is providing an update on the fatal collision involving a pedestrian that occurred Saturday evening.

As the investigation progresses, investigators anticipate that additional charges may be laid.

Police say at this time, there is no evidence to suggest that this was a targeted incident or that the individuals involved knew one another.

Windsor police have identified the driver as 28-year-old Summer Rose Chatterton.
