In the aftermath of U.S. President Donald Trump’s imposition of 25 per cent tariffs on most Canadian imports, those residing beside the busiest land crossing between the two nations insist Canada must stand its ground.
We asked people in Windsor about the incoming tariffs and Canada’s decision to introduce retaliatory tariffs.
Windsorites we spoke with suggested Canadian consumers “boycott American products,” while another pushed the government to place exit tariffs on oil and electricity heading stateside.
