$28,000 of drugs seized from Wallaceburg home

The Lambton OPP and Chatham-Kent Police Service have seized just under $28,000 from a home in Wallaceburg.

On Feb. 25, officers executed a search warrant at a house on Forhan Street. Quantities of suspected methamphetamine, opioids, cash, and other “offence-related items” were seized.

A 46-year-old Wallaceburg man is facing charges for possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, and possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid.
