Mounties investigating theft of trailer in Langford, B.C.

Mounties are investigating after a large, enclosed trailer was reported stolen earlier this week in Langford, B.C.

Investigators say the eight-metre trailer was taken from an industrial building in the 2600 block of Millstream Road around 3:15 a.m. on March 4.

Surveillance video obtained by police shows a suspect vehicle towing the trailer away from the side of the building, the West Shore RCMP said in a statement Friday.

The suspect vehicle is described as a grey or silver mid-2000s Ford F-series pickup truck with four doors.

The stolen trailer is black and measures approximately two and a half metres tall, police said.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the suspect vehicle or anyone who was in the area around the time of the theft to contact police.
