A driver was beaten and robbed while trying to make an alcohol delivery in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood early Tuesday morning, according to Saskatoon police.
Officers were called to the 300 block of Avenue T South just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday for a reported armed robbery, police said in a news release.
Investigators say a driver was parked outside an apartment building waiting to deliver some alcohol when two people armed with a bat and a firearm approached. The driver was hit with the bat multiple times and robbed of the alcohol before the suspects fled.
Police are still searching for the suspects and are asking the public to help identify them.
One suspect is described as a male, wearing all black clothes with a black mask and gloves. The other suspect is described as a female around four feet tall, with red hair and a black mask with white stripes.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
