Prince Albert RCMP say they thwarted an armed robbery of a vehicle last week.
Shortly before 10 p.m. on Feb. 6, officers received a report of an armed robbery near a business on Highway 2 and Highway 264 in the Elk Ridge area, Prince Albert RCMP said in a news release.
Police say the investigation determined a woman approached a vehicle, threatened the driver and directed them to drive to a specified location.
The suspect, a 20-year-old woman from Nipawin, was arrested later after police located the vehicle at a business in Northside, Saskatchewan.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured, police say.
The accused has been charged with one count of robbery with an offensive weapon and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Feb. 7 and 10.
