Sask. RCMP searching for Regina man wanted for rural break-ins

Cynan Fink-Rostad, 20, from Regina is currently wanted by RCMP. He faces 10 charges related to a string of incidents in the community of St. Joseph's, Sask.

Saskatchewan RCMP are searching for a Regina man who is wanted in connection to several break-ins and thefts in the hamlet of St. Joseph’s.

In a news release published Jan. 31, Sask. RCMP announced that Cynan Fink-Rostad, 20, was charged with two additional counts in connection to a string of alleged offences that occurred a week prior.

Fink-Rostad faces 10 charges in total, they include truck theft, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, trespassing by night, possession of property obtained by crime, mischief and theft under $5,000.

On Jan. 21, in the community of St. Josephs, a suspect broke into a vehicle and stole bank and gift cards. During the same night, another vehicle was also damaged in the community.

Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for Fink-Rostan’s arrest. RCMP describe him as six foot three inches tall, weighing 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Other identifying features include a tattoo of a rose on his left wrist, numbers on his left hand and a small tattoo under his left eye.

Anyone who sees Fink-Rostad is encouraged to contact their local RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.

Saskatchewan RCMP says its investigation into the incidents continues.

St. Joseph’s is located approximately 25 kilometres east of Regina.
