The Ottawa Police Service is asking the public for help in identifying a person who might have information about a suspicious fire that happened in December 2024, in the neighbourhood of Westboro.
Police say they received a call on Dec. 1, 2024 around 6 a.m. reporting a fire at a residence in the 400 block of Kenwood Avenue.
Video footage shows that a person was seen running in the area towards Roosevelt Avenue between 5:40 a.m. and 5:50 a.m., officers add, noting that they might “have witnessed the incident or have helpful information for police.”
The person was seen wearing all black in the video.
Anyone with information about this person is asked to call police at 613-236-1222, extension 2202, or leave a tip anonymously at crimestoppers.ca.
