Ottawa man identified as victim of Perth, Ont. homicide in Last Duel Park

Ontario Provincial Police have identified the victim of a homicide in Perth, Ont.’s Last Duel Park as a 34-year-old Ottawa man.

The man was found with critical injuries in the park on April 12. He died in hospital.

The victim was identified on Tuesday as Christo Allison Richards, 34, of Ottawa.

Police say investigators believe the incident was targeted, with no signs of a broader threat, according to a news release.

The investigation remains ongoing. Police have not announced any arrests.

This incident marks the third homicide in Perth in the last 10 years.
