One person taken to hospital following stabbing in Ottawa’s Lowertown neighbourhood

A man is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries following an early morning stabbing in Ottawa’s Lowertown neighbourhood.

Emergency crews responded to a call in the area of King Edward Avenue and Murray Street at 5:30 a.m. Monday.

The Ottawa Police Service says a man was located at the scene with stab wounds.

One person is in custody.

An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson told CTV News Ottawa one person was treated at the scene for a laceration and transported to hospital in stable condition.

The investigation continues.
