A brand-new music festival featuring an all-star Canadian lineup will be coming to Frontenac County, just north of Kingston, this summer.
The “Line Spike Frontenac” festival will be held from June 28 - 29. The venue has not yet been announced but will take place in the South Frontenac area, organizers say.
Organizers are billing the festival as one of the “largest pre-Canada Day music events in the nation.”
The lineup includes Canadian artists Burton Cummings, Walk Off The Earth, Chantal Kreviazuk, Alan Frew, Kelsi Mayne, and Madison Galloway, with more to be announced.
Organizers are calling it a “tribute to Canadian resilience and unity in uncertain times.”
“Set against a backdrop of towering pines, serene lakes, and community warmth, Line Spike Frontenac 2025 invites you to rediscover what it means to be Canadian — proud, passionate, and unified through music,” organizers said in a news release.
The Maple Leaf Vendor Village will also be spotlighting Canadian-made artisans and manufacturers who will be selling everything from gourmet treats to locally-made outdoor gear.
The “Guitars and Gasoline” festival in Calabogie, just south of Ottawa, was announced earlier this month and will also feature an all-Canadian lineup, including headliners Blue Rodeo, Josh Ross and Theory of a Deadman.
General Public Presale will begin March 31 and can be purchased at LineSpike.ca.
Local residents can purchase before March 31 by purchasing a local resident two-day pass on sale via Ab3 Comedy with limited availability.
