Ottawa paramedics say two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 417 Tuesday night.
The vehicles collided at around 11:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway near the Vanier Parkway.
According to Ottawa Fire Services, one vehicle was on its side and the driver was trapped within. A second vehicle was in the ditch.
Firefighters helped extricate the driver in the car on its side and had safely gotten them out of the vehicle via the sunroof.
Paramedics say a man and a woman were transported to hospital in stable condition.
