Driver killed in 2-vehicle crash in eastern Ontario

Ontario Provincial Police say a Sudbury driver has been charged with dangerous driving and is a suspect in other incidents following his arrest March 3 near Toronto. (File)

A 61-year-old man from South Glengarry is dead after a two-vehicle crash south of Alexandria, Ont.

Emergency crews responded to a crash on County Road 25, between County Road 24 and Chapel Road at approximately 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Ontario Provincial Police say the driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle did not suffer serious physical injuries, according to police.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
