Ontario Provincial Police say a 26-year-old man is facing charges after a fiery crash in Arnprior Tuesday afternoon.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Madawaska Boulevard and Bridge Street at around 3:30 p.m. One of the vehicles was engulfed in flames by the time police arrived. While everyone had gotten out of their respective vehicles, the driver of one of them was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the burned vehicle is charged with driving while prohibited and refusing to submit a breath sample.
The man’s licence had been prohibited due to a previous offence, police said. A 90-day suspension was added to the prohibition as a result of the incident on Tuesday.
He will be in court in Pembroke in April.
