Sault police searching for footage of or witnesses to recent hit-and-run crash

Members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are investigating a collision which occurred between 8 and 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 10.

“A loader struck a utility pole in the 400 block of Boundary Road,” police said in a news release.

“The loader caused significant damage to the utility pole and the driver failed to remain on scene.”

Investigators are asking anyone who may have dashcam or security camera footage of the incident or who witnessed the collision to contact Sgt. Joe Poderys at 705-949-6300 ext. 348 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
