Several northern Ontario colleges appear to be getting good marks from graduates and employers.
The key performance indicators survey was released Wednesday. It looks at the province’s 24 colleges and includes results from students and employers.
In the northeast, of the five post-secondary schools, College Boreal is ahead of its english language counterparts in several areas.
College Boreal came out on top in the student graduation category at 75.4%. Northern College in Timmins posted the highest graduate employment rate at 84.8%. Boreal’s 96% rating was tops for employer satisfaction.
Meanwhile, Sault College finished first in quality of learning.
The survey is done annually to help the provincial government and colleges enhance what they call ‘the student experience’ at schools. The most recent data was collected from March 2016 to February 2017.
