CTV News Sudbury reporter Amanda Hicks, who lives nearby, said she and her partner were sitting and watching TV when they looked out the window and saw smoke.

At 1:45 p.m., Oshell said the fire was out and crews were working on overhauling hot spots.
In an update at 4:30 p.m., he said the fire is not considered suspicious.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a heater and combustible materials located too close to it.
No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze.
When asked if anyone was home at the time of the fire, Oshell said, “Not that I am aware of.”
The house sustained heavy fire and smoke damage throughout the property in the blaze, he said.
While there is no estimate on the damage, Oshell characterized it as “significant.”
