The search continues for suspects in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a 21-year-old woman in a small First Nation community on the James Bay coast last fall.
The Ontario government is now offering a $50,000 reward for information about the death of Loni Chum, Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release Monday.
New information about the suspected cause of death was released as well.
"Loni Chum was located deceased on Jaban Street in Moose Factory, Moose Cree First Nation," OPP said.
"Police believe she was struck by a pickup truck at approximately 3 a.m. on Nov. 7."

Previously, police said she was found in critical condition and was taken to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
A week after Chum's death, OPP released information about two vehicles of interest in the case, asking the public for help in identifying the people involved.
Around 2:40 a.m. the morning of the incident, a red pickup truck was seen on Jaban Street and a dark-coloured pickup truck was seen on the same street about 10 minutes later.
The investigation is continuing and OPP Const. Kyler Brouwer told CTVNewsNorthernOntario.ca the two pickup trucks have been identified.
"The investigation has progressed since the appeal to the public regarding the trucks," Brouwer said.
"Investigators are now seeking people with knowledge of what transpired that night, and who is responsible for Loni Chum’s death."

The $50,000 reward will be paid for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for Chum's death.
"Investigators urge any person who may have information to immediately contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, 705 329-6111 or their nearest police authority," OPP said.
"Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000."
