Montreal police arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the death of a 42 year old woman was found dead in LaSalle on Thursday.
Police said they received a call around 11:30 a.m. asking them to do a wellness check at a residence on Turley Street, near Thierry Street.
Once there, officers found the woman’s body with marks of violence. Police said they are investigating the death as the first homicide of the year.
The investigation is underway.
