Man in critical condition after being struck and trapped under his own vehicle

A Montreal man is in the hospital after he was struck by and trapped under his vehicle.

A 54-year-old man is in critical condition after being apparently struck and trapped by his own vehicle in Montreal’s Côte-Des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-De-Grâce borough on Friday morning.

Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 8:30 a.m. about a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

When officers arrived at Darlington Avenue near Brighton Avenue, they found the man unconscious under his vehicle.

He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

A minor was in the vehicle as a passenger at the time. They were uninjured.

Police are speaking with witnesses, and collision experts are analyzing the scene to determine what happened.
