Those planning in and around Montreal this weekend should be aware that there are notable closures due to construction that may affect routes.
In particular, overnight closures in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontain Tunnel and on the Charles-De Gaulle Bridge should be noted.
In addition, drivers are advised to monitor snow clearing operations before leaving.
Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel / Highway 25
- From Friday at 11 p.m. to Saturday at 8 a.m., the northbound Highway 25 lanes between exit 90 (R-132) on Highway 20 west in Longueuil and the Sherbrooke Street access in Montreal will be closed. This includes the entire length of the tunnel.
- During the same period, the southbound lanes on the highway between Exit 5 (Sherbrooke Street) in Montreal and Route 132 in Longueuil will also be closed.
As a result, the following are default closures as of 10:30 p.m.:
- The Route 132 east and west ramps (exits 89-N) to Highway 25 north.
- The l'Île-Charron Street access.
- The Sherbrooke, Tellier and des Futailles exits.

Other closures
- The Highway 40 west ramp at the Anjou Interchange for Highway 25 South is also closed.
- Souligny Avenue eastbound between Dickson and Honoré-Beaugrand.

Charles-de-Gaulle Bridge / Highway 40
- From Friday at 9:30 p.m. to Saturday at 9 a.m. and from Sunday at 10:30 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., Highway 40 eastbound will be closed between Henri-Bourassa Boulevard (exit 89) and the Route 344 / chemin Saint-Charles access, including the Charles-De Gaulle bridge.
- As a result, access from Marien Avenue and Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Tricentenaire and Henri-Bourassa boulevards will be closed starting at 9 p.m.
- From Saturday at 8 a.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., one of three eastbound lanes will be closed on the bridge.

Honoré-Mercier Bridge (Kahnawake)
- The Route 138 west ramp (from Montreal) to Route 132 east (towards La Prairie) and the Route 132 West ramp (from La Prairie) to Route 138 east (towards Montreal) will be closed from Friday at 9 p.m. to Saturday at 4 a.m.
Sherbrooke Street (Montreal)
- From Saturday at 7 a.m. to Sunday at 7 p.m., work will result in delays and blocked lanes on Sherbrooke Street east between Bordeaux Street and Des Érables Avenue.
De Lorimier Avenue (Montreal)
- From Saturday at 7 a.m. to Sunday at 7 p.m., the right lane on De Lorimier Avenue northbound will be closed up to Sherbrooke Street.
Réseau express métropolitain - REM
- The REM light rail line will be completely closed every Saturday and Sunday in February and March. Shuttles will be available.
