Here are the Montreal-area road closures due to construction

Drivers in and around Montreal this weekend should note that major construction projects will result in road closures.

In particular, those heading east into the Viger Tunnel should plan ahead, as traffic will back up.

Saint-Pierre Interchange

• From Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., the road leading from Highway 20 West (Exit 63) to the Route 138 West / Honoré-Mercier Bridge.

Bonaventure Highway (A-10)

• On the Bonaventure Highway (A-10) in both directions, new lane configuration between the Victoria and Clément bridges, until April 6.

De Lorimier Avenue

• Between René-Lévesque and De Maisonneuve boulevards, the northbound direction of De Lorimier Avenue and one of three lanes in the southbound direction are closed from Monday to Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., for a period of 5 weeks.

Viger Avenue East

• One of three lanes are closed from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., and two of three lanes are closed from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and until 5 a.m. from Friday to Sunday on Viger Avenue East, between the onramp to Route 136 West and Wolfe Street, until early April.

Route 138 (LaSalle)

• Until April 18, one of two lanes will be closed on Route 138 at Exit 2 in both directions.
