A man is in hospital following gunfire at a home in Île-Perrot, west of the Island of Montreal.
Police received a 911 call at 9:30 p.m. Sunday about the incident on 24e Avenue.
When they arrived, they found a man in his 50s with significant injuries.
He was transported to hospital, where his life is considered to be in danger.
Investigators and forensic technicians with the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) remain onsite to analyze the scene.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
