Winter returns to midwestern Ontario

It wasn’t enough to cancel school buses, but driving was still a challenge across parts of Huron, Bruce, and Grey counties on Monday.

High winds brought drifting snow to parts of the region, specifically along the Lake Huron shoreline.

Along with the driving snow was a swift drop in temperature, as Monday night’s low temperature will reach –16 with the windchill.

It was a far cry from just a few days ago, with temperatures above freezing.
