A serious collision between an SUV and tractor in Southgate has resulted in charges for a 16-year-old from Conn.
Grey Bruce OPP say that on Friday afternoon at roughly 12:30 the collision occurred on Grey Road 9 between Sideroad 49 and Sideroad 55.
Police say that the driver of the SUV, a 39-year-old from Durham was transported to a trauma centre. It was later determined that their injuries were not life-threatening.
The 16-year-old operator of the tractor has been charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act. They were initially treated at the scene, but did not require further medical attention.
The area remains closed off for scene cleanup. Anyone with information or that may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
