It’s March Break, and what a break indeed from dreary winter weather. Monday is one of the warmest days of the year thus far.

“Soaking up the sunshine across southern Ontario, kicking off the March break in style,” said CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “Double digit temperatures and feeling the warmth in southern Ontario.”

Atchison says some snowfall is expected north, but it won’t reach our neck of the woods. However, a cold front will make its way to us Tuesday, but we will quickly warm up again later in the week.

“[We] will reach our high early in the day [Tuesday] and then the temperature drops off to plus 1 as we head into Tuesday afternoon evening. So, a sharp change,” explained Atchison. “[Then] a big push of warm air moving in Thursday and Friday.”
