Police, forensic teams return to Adelaide Street home where body of deceased person was discovered

Police, forensic teams returned to an Adelaide Street South home Thursday following the discovery of a body.

Investigators returned to a home Thursday where a body was found earlier this week in the city’s south end.

Police were joined by fire crews and regional coroner forensic teams’ members emerged from the home on Adelaide Street South wearing respirator masks.

A deceased person was found in the home just before 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Police say the home had been unoccupied and hydro to the property had been disconnected.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

The Major Crimes Section is heading the investigation.
