Knights head to Sault Ste. Marie down 2-0 after overtime loss to Greyhounds

The London Knights head to Sault Ste. Marie down 2-0 in the opening round of the OHL playoffs.

The Greyhounds got out to an early lead mid way through the first period at Canada Life Place on Sunday evening, then scoring again in the second to take a 2-0 lead.

London bounced back to come within one, and then Linus Funk tied the game just over a minute into the third period.

The Knights were able to hold off the Greyhounds for the remainder of the third period but Brady martin scored with just under 30 seconds left in overtime for the Soo to get the win.

Games 3 and 4 are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday in Sault St. Marie.

The Knights also lost Game 1 on Friday night, 4-1.
