Highway 402 in Lambton County reopens after crash involving two transport trucks

A stretch of Highway 402 was closed for several hours early Tuesday following a collision involving two transport trucks.

Emergency crews were called to the westbound lanes just east of Nauvoo Road around 6:30 a.m.

The westbound side of the highway was shut down between Kerwood Road and Nauvoo Road to allow for the removal of the tractor-trailers.

One driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
